Yaeko Mitamura, known as Yakko to her friends, is an 18 year old girl working in her father's Okonomiyaki restaurant in Tokyo. One day, a young boy named Hashizo visits their restaurant with his strange cat Juliano. After losing both parents when he was still a baby, Hashizo was raised by his older brother Go, who is part of a rock band named Bee Hive. When Yakko meets Go, along with another bandmate Satomi, new romances begin to form as Yakko is pulled into a new and exciting world.
